Sophie Dorsch

Sophie Stratton is currently a professional equine nutritionist, based in Lexington, Kentucky. Sophie spent two years during her Masters at the University of Kentucky focusing on protein metabolism in horses with respect to forage-based diets. Sophie has experience in hunter/jumper equitation, eventing, and dressage, but is also no stranger to a western saddle. Sophie is particularly passionate about helping to improve the condition of hard-keepers and underweight horses. She has contributed to a range of equine research projects as well as small animal veterinary medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga and hitting the trails for relaxed rides with friends.
