Maiden mare carried on as normal but ph dropped from 7.4-7.6 to 6.8 over about 10 hours. And down to 6.4 5 hours later. I mounted baby cam right then. Baby was born 5 hours later at 2 am! The strips worked are a must for pregnant mare owners!!

This is the first time trying these strips. My mare did not get milk until right before she foaled. I checked her milk that evening with the strip. And it said she would foal within 72 hrs. About 3 hrs later, she foaled. Late that night.
I’m assuming they work. But I was only able to check milk her once.

I used these with a maiden mare. They absolutely do work -- they are correct that maidens will change very quickly right before they foal. Mine did and I actually thought I must be using them wrong. I watched her anyway and a perfect foal was born about 12 hours later! Will definitely use these again :-)

The strips work. The first few days the results said not in the next 72 hour’s . Then the day before delivery the results said next 24 hours and it was that night.

I think this is rather overpriced and shipping should be nothing since you can put this in a regular envelope. It was helpful in determining when my mare was about to foal.

My maiden mare was giving me no true indication of foaling and the pool strips had me within range, below 7. The Full Bucket tests turned immediately very dark, like 5.8-6 ish, so I was confused on the first day. The second day was less drastic so I slept in the barn the next two nights and voila! Thanks for way more sleep than usual!

My mare was well past her 330 date and had been on/off her feed for 2 days. Although, she had mammary development her udder wasn't full and there was no waxing. I was checking her every night. The night of foaling she dropped to 5.8ph. Spot on! Thankfully too. We were there to aid in delivery as it was a larger foal and she had struggled for over 10 minutes. Thank you! Definitely using these next foaling season.

These foal strips were incredibly accurate. Mares PH dropped from 7.8 to 6.4 Friday night indicating she would foal within 72 hours. Dropped to 6.0 Saturday. Checked her Monday morning and she was at 5.8 and she foaled an hour later. Highly recommend these!!!

My friend told me about the Indicator Strips, so I thought I'd try them since I had a foal due in a week. I got the strips, used them for 3 days, with a small amount of color movement, then they showed just above the level where the foal is due within 72 hours. The last changes ZOOMED by and the foal was born the next day at noon! Although we were surprised by this, we would have been MORE surprised if we hadn't used the strips. So experience is a good thing when using the strips, and I'll have a better idea of how often to monitor next time! Thanks for such a helpful product!

Never Looking Back!
This is my first year using testing strips, and I saw some recommendations of breeders stating their love of FullBucket. I decided to try it, and at first I was a bit underwhelmed with this tiny packet of strips but boy did they prove themselves to be worth every penny. Very accurate readings that gave me peaceful of mind and the ability to go to sleep at night. Best yet, they are so simple and easy to use! They are now an essential part of my foaling kit for years to come!

Can't Live Without Them
I started using these last year and they have gotten me so much extra sleep! I can test my mares and know if they still have a ways to go and not have to get up to check them throughout the night every night. I've found them to be VERY accurate. I'll never go a foaling season without again!
